I have been enjoying this place since college days. 30+ years later, it still has the same great service and food!!! My family votes to go here as a our family fav meal. A yummy sandwich to suit any picky preference!

I’ve been going to Sausage Deli forever because they make the best sandwiches in town, but it’s been a while since I’ve been on that side of town. I have to say, the service today was exemplary! The young woman at the counter with the mouth piercing above her teeth was so kind and friendly, it actually made me realize how infrequently people are smiling at each other these days. Every single time she spoke to a guest, she was smiling- and it was genuine. She was just wonderful. Additionally, the guy making the food was ALSO friendly!! There was no BOH mentality here; he was wishing people a good day as they came and went, too. While always awesome, these two REALLY stood out today. Incredible team you have!

Good flavor and fast service. Decent amount of ingredients on my BLT sandwich for even flavor. Bread was soft n fresh. Was surprised that it wasn't toasted but it was my first time there so I guess I should ask next time. Bread fell apart as I ate the sandwich. Not because it got soggy but because I had the marbled rye and the different colors separated. Not sure how I'd fix that next time.

No more chicken salad subs!! My fave...but the Omar is delicious as well as the Italian grinder. Best deli place in Tucson! My opinion
